Ercol Two Seater Sofa Model 766/2 Circa 1970s/80s

This is a wonderful looking two seater sofa. The design was conceived in the 1950s by Lucian Ercolani. The frame is good and solid with no loose or wobbly spindles or joints, the seat base webbing is also in excellent order. There is a minor bruise to one of the arms which requires some attention to make perfect. (see photo) The cushions will require updating as they are very worn and are of the chintz period. As the cushions are original they can be used as a pattern for original Ercol replacements.
