Ludlow Vintage:
Our Story

Passion and Vision

We, being Mark and Becky love finding new pieces whether it's a vintage sideboard, mid-century dining table, a stunning set of Danish dining chairs, Art Deco ceramics, period art glass or just the plain quirky. What we particularly love is hearing the story of our pieces and the lives they have lived. A lot of our finds are fresh to market and have been loved and looked after by families for decades. We feel that this gives us the opportunity to pass on some history with the pieces we sell.

In this world of mass produced products, sustainability is more important today than it has ever been. We truly believe that if everyone tried their best to furnish their homes with a few vintage  pieces, then we could all make a small difference to our carbon footprint and the world, which added together would make a massive impact. The quality and workmanship in the pieces we sell, speak for themselves. There are many modern manufacturers who strive to emulate the styles and designs of past decades. This is because they realise the beauty and workmanship within a classic design.

Why not buy an original piece rather than a copy?

Becky and I buy what we love. Our buying policy is based on one thing ‘would we have it in our house?’ and if the answer is 'yes' we will buy it. What started out as a hobby has now morphed into a thriving business and we love it!

We believe the key to furnishing your home is to blend quality pieces from different periods rather than filling a room with one era.

However, if recreating a complete period look is what you are after then that can work beautifully too.

If you can't find what you're looking for then maybe we can help, just let us know what it is and we will endeavour to find it through our network of contacts.

Why not give us a call to see how we can help?
