West German Fat Lava Lamp Circa 1970s

This is a classic pottery lava lamp in the style of Stien Keramik.The lamp features a bulb holder within the base and a lamp fitting to the top.The glazed base feature two handles and has a colour palette of brown and mushroom. Currently there is a red bulb in the base to give it the effect of molten lava which is coupled with a shade with a red interior which could be interpreted as an eruption. You decide. The lamp base is in great vintage condition displaying only a few minor age related marks which do not detract from the overall look. 70s kitsch what’s not to love?
