Adjustable Medical Standard Lamp Circa 1960s

This is a great looking lamp that would have originally been used in a medical setting, possibly on a hospital ward. It has since been converted to make an unusual reading/spot/room light.The piece sits on a tri form base, which has wheels for ease of movement, the base supports the chrome pillar which has the adjustable arm attached. The base and shade are finished in the original industrial green/grey paint that was the colour of this type of medical equipment in period and presents in excellent vintage condition. The switches to the base no longer operate for safety reasons. A great feature lamp for any room what’s not to love?
